But it's the only one I have of the boys and I.
And I love it.
Micah is the baby in the front, and Grey is behind him. Micah was resting his head on his brother, which they both seemed to like, despite all the cords bunched up between them.
The little patches on their chest monitor their breathing and temperature.
The clamps on their feet monitors their oxygen and pulse.
They each have an IV in their hands, through which they are getting fluids similar to what they received in utero.
And the tubes in their noses are how I feed them. It runs down into their bellies, so after I pump my milk I suck the milk into a syringe, stick the syringe in the end of tube, and slowly squeeze it out.
I get to hold them to my chest while I do that, since they're too small to really breastfeed, but we want them to equate getting a full belly of food with being at the breast.
And they really are trying to eat, and they nuzzle and root around.
Which is the sweetest thing in the entire world.
And which, apparently, is a really good sign.

The birth of your boys has caused memories to flood back to me. I totally forgot about the syringes of pumped milk. They are adorable. Absolutely adorable.
That was good information Becky!
We're so blessed and grateful that you and they are doing well.
I just read all your posts! how exciting! Congratulations!
The boys are perfect and you look wonderful! Take it easy if you can! I had three C-sections and I know what can happen if you do too much! I am so happy for you! And I wish you all the best. I'm praying that the boys come home soon and that you make a speedy recovery! I love you my dear cousin!
Congratulations to you and your husband. The both babies are adorable! Just like their mommy!
So sweet! I found your blog....actually not sure how probably all the time I spend searching about twins. I will be 32 weeks on Wednesday with Boy/Girl twins. So happy for you and your boys are so cute!
Oh my goodness, Becky. They are so beautiful! Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. Sometimes I forget you're a grownup. I think you're still that skinny little girl who only ate white rice and mashed potatoes. And I sound like a grandma. Haha. So excited for you all.
