Sup, readers?

On a pretty regular basis I say to Travis, "What should I write about on the blog today?"
And he says "Dunno. Whatever you want."

Which is very unhelpful.
But recently he said something which actually was helpful and it was this: "Why don't you ask people what they want you to write more about?"

So I am.
Why do you come to this blog?
What do you want to see more of (or less of) on Baby Making?

Pictures?
Videos?
How-tos or recipes? (Since I actually make lots of things, but never really post about them)
More writing in general?
More writing about a specific topic? (eg: cloth diapers, breastfeeding, our schedule, sleep, conversations I overhear, myself... you get it)
More giveaways and reviews?
Guest posts or blog highlights?
Do you want to see me wearing fancy clothes?
Photography or editing tips (Keeping in mind that I am no professional)

Or do you HATE when I write about myself (making reading Fact: it is Friday torture)?
Are you super bored by my endless, complaintive posts about my lack of sleep?

Or do you think I strike a completely perfect balance of all things wonderful on my blog?

I can't promise that this will influence how much I write about a specific topic, but it just might. And next time I can't think of what to write about, this may just help me kill my writer's block.

Oh, and here's a picture for good measure.

(Because DANG! those eyes are blue.)

Well since I am a momma to twin boys- 7 months old...I would love to hear more abouthow you all make it work...I know my husband and I feel like we are running around all the time and there is never any down time...wondering if all mom's of twins have the same feelings? The boys are my first/second kids- never done this before so any advice or help is always appreciated! I follow your blog since you are a mom to twins- I like to read about other moms on what they do and so on....recipes are great too- add those as well...I cook for my husband and I 6 nights a week and could always use more recipes! Becky, I just love reading what you write! I think you have a great way of making me laugh every day! And I showed my mom and dad and husband your video of the family pictures--adorable! Someone who is TRYING to be a photographer would love some more photography tips! Love it!

To be honest and polite, I've always found your text is way too small on this blog, maybe just me??? I love your blog, love the stuff on the babies and how they're growing, what you're doing, how you're coping. Your pictures are excellent...keep that up. I'm not a fan of "Fact: It is Friday" but it's your blog, not mine! :)

I love Fact Friday. Please keep doing that! I also love when you write about your experiences as a mother of twins. I have a bit of a twin obsession.

I love your blog! Come to think of it, I really love it because you don't have a lot of reviews/giveaways/guest posts. When I go to a lot of blogs on my list, I know I will just scroll through the different posts to get to the ones I want to read. Yours is different-I always read every post. I just really like hearing about the life of you and your family, and seeing the adorable pictures of your sweet babies. I have a 7 month old baby boy, and you put into words what we are all feeling! :)

As a new-ish blogger, I would love more photo/editing tips. Even though you don't consider yourself a professional, you take great photos. I also love your header and general blog design, so if you have any tips or tricks there that would be awesome too.

I think you should do what you love on here. If you feel like posting pictures of your boys, do it. If you want to complain about your lack of sleep, or breastfeeding, or your religion, do it. Blogs should be a reflection of the writer and you are a multi-faceted person - I like the mix you have going on and I LOVE your sarcasm and authentic style. It's YOU and I like you (even though I don't know you personally, and that sounded really stalker-ish). I'm not a stalker, just a fan and a fellow soon to be mom that is on Top Baby Blogs and found you there.

I'm a fan of your blog! I would enjoy more "how to handle twins" posts, but I also love the posts that are about YOU and show how wonderfully delightful you are. I thought the comment about the larger text was funny because I have thought, "Is it just me or is the font reallly small?" Haha. I don't want to mess up your style, though :)

Mmmm...ok. That's all. You're the best.

I love your blog! I found your blog through someone else; I think it was another twin mom blogger. (can't remember.) I like Fact Fridays; I enjoy reading about your life before the twins! The pictures you post are amazing and I am so envious of your picture taking. Micah and Grey are soo cute; I like seeing their facial expressions. (Also, I cannot tell who is who. I have to find their names on your pictures but nonetheless, both M & G are adorable.)

I hate to somewhat agree with the other comments but your font is small, I sometimes have to go really close to the computer screen.

I enjoy your blog because it is sincere and heartfelt. And yes, of course, funny. I agree with the person who mentioned the lack of giveaways...thank goodness someone still blogs with intention.

I read your blog to hear about you and your life. So I say do what you want.

I can't get enough pictures and videos of those babies. And, I love reading about the trials, tribulations, and joys of having twins. I love reading your experiences and emotions about being a new mom of twins.

Becky since the reason I started reading your blog was to see what you have been up to since middle school I quite honestly would not change a thing. I LOVE fact it is friday because I know the places you are talking about when you tell about your childhood and I pretty much peed my pants reading your story about peeing your pants in gym class because I am pretty sure I know the gym teacher and i would have done the same thing. I thought I was the ONLY one who hated gym class that badly. Truthfully I would like to hear more about your religion because I don't know a thing and it sounds interesting to me. :-) Keep it up lady!

I think your text size is perfect! I have 2 month identical twin girls, so I love to hear what you do to make it work! LOVE your breastfeeding/bottle feeding and sleep schedule posts--and other tips on how you do things! :D

I forgot to mention that I definitely think you should get a Formspring page so that people can ask specific questions and you can answer them instead of having to make an extra comment on your blog.

Becky,

So I've never actually commented on your blog before. I've been following it for a couple of months now when a girl from my mommy and me group here in South Florida recommended it and I totally see why! I'm a new mom, my son will be six weeks on Thursday. Sorry I'm commenting so late but I'm trying to catch up while he is sleeping. Took a break from the blogging world since he was born... So to answer your questions

Why do you come to this blog? Since your boys are not only older than mine and you have "double the fun" I come here to look for advice and see if there are situations I'm not just going through that you have already been through.

What do you want to see more of (or less of) on Baby Making?
Well these "More writing about a specific topic" cloth diapers, breastfeeding, our schedule, and sleep. More giveaways and reviews
Photography or editing tips (Tips on how you personalize your blog would be awesome too!) I'm relatively new to the blogger format, I've been a Livejournal girl for years!

I love your fact fridays although I have not borrowed it for my blog yet.

Are you super bored by my endless, complaintive posts about my lack of sleep? Nope

I do think you strike a good balance on your blog! The topics listed above are just the one I'm more interested in. Sorry for the "novel" response.
