Baby Polas

My sister Mary has a cute and tiny little polaroid camera, and she took a bunch of pictures while she was here this weekend.
I like how old school the photos look, like they could be of baby Travis.

This is my favorite, it's of Grey. It's blurry, because it's a picture of a polaroid, but look at all that thick blonde hair!

These are my sisters and I. In order we're sitting Kathryn, Becky, Mary.

This is Mary holding a baby... Micah, I think. But it's hard to see who she has.
And they're identical, so it'd be hard to tell anyway.

I've been really hesitant to take pictures of the boys. One reason is that I only get to see them for a short time a day, and I don't want to waste it taking pictures. Another reason is that they and I are both really tired and it's hard to move around and do anything cute.  But mostly, I just hate all the wires coming out of them. It breaks my heart to see, and frankly, they're much cuter without tubes up their noses.
But this one is pretty cute, despite all the wires.
Grey on the left, Micah on the right.

This is me holding Grey. He's almost always alert, and looking around.  Both boys have such pretty, big dark eyes. I can't wait to see what color they end up!

These two blurry pics below are kind of pathetic, but the boys have developed jaundice and need to lie under bright lights all day.  So they wear these goofy little masks over their eyes, like they're in a tanning bed.  Grey is the one with the mask on, and Micah is curled up next to him.
And I saved the best for last. This is our first family picture.
Literally, this is the first photo taken of all four of us, and I love it, even though it's a little pathetic, with the boys lying in their incubator and Grey wearing a mask... ah well.
I love it anyway.

I love these! I know it might suck taking pictures of them with the wires and tubs but trust me you'll be glad you have them someday. My mom made sure to take pictures of the triplets when they were in the hospital and so small but it's so awesome to see those pictures today and how far they've come!

And I love, love, love that they're in the same bed together. I think I read or heard somewhere that twins actually grow and thrive faster/better when they're placed in the same beds.

You look AWESOME mama!

awww, little baby babies! so little, so cute! I love old pictures like that. and oh, twin boys just seem to be the best. little boys are great, two at once, even better! soon they'll be home, laughing, playing, and wrestling each other, so enjoy these moments of silence with these incredible little dudes! congratulations!

Love these! I think it's great they can be in the same bed. Sadly, mine had to be on opposite ends of the room. Lame. Still praying for the boys!

Love all the pictures. I am getting the feeling that the boys resemble their daddy! Patch babies don't have hair for the first couple of years!
