26 Weeks

Grrr... our internet has been really poor, since things keep happening that keep us from having our own internet and using the neighbors doesn't ever really work.
But early in the morning, in the back corner of the spare room I have a weak connection.
So here is the ultrasound update that I promised you on Wednesday:

I am 26 weeks pregnant and the babies are still right on track in their growth.
Baby A is still a bit bigger than Baby B, but the doctors say it isn't a substantial weight difference, so there's nothing to worry about.
Baby A is weighing in at 2 lbs 1 oz (over the two pound mark! He's getting so big!)
and Baby B weighs 1 lb 14 oz (just three ounces smaller than his brother)
They were kicking like crazy, too.
The ultrasound tech yesterday wasn't our normal technician and she wasn't very nice.
My parents got to come watch, and I asked her to point out what she was measuring so we could all see, and try to see their faces a little but she hardly spoke the whole time!
Periodically she'd mumble something like "head."
But it was pretty clear when she was measuring the head. I wished she'd tell us what everything else was.

It was nice to see the little guys, but I wish we'd gotten a good look at them.
They're in the 50th percentile for size of singleton babies (non-multiple) which means they're perfectly average in size for non-twins.
Which is awesome for twins.
And since we didn't get a picture of them, here is a picture of me, taken by my 13year old brother Jack:

26 Weeks.
Oh, and happy New Year.
