(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - Two Months

May fourth, May fourth! My babies are exactly two months old!
They are pretty much gigantic compared to how big they used to be.
And they've started making these really happy little noises, squeaks, and coos.
Grey goes "Yeaaaah," which is pretty much adorable.
And Micah goes "Hiiiii"

Last night after they were bathed and put into their pjs, I tried to take some "We're two months old" pictures, but what resulted were "We have a bad mom" pictures. So we had to take new pictures this morning.

Because in last night's pictures you can see how sunburned Grey is.
Yep.
Sunburned.
If you, like my husband, wonder why I don't crop these pictures - it's because I love seeing how little they are compared to our big queen-sized bed, and because I think it looks snugly and sweet to see our pillows and blankets.

Yesterday we were lying out in the sun again, because it's the boys' new favorite thing (and my old favorite thing).

And because apparently I don't understand "Wordless Wednesday," here's the tale of Grey getting sunburned (unrelated to the pictures...):

First, we were in the house and they were fussing, so I scooped them up and we went outside to sit on a blanket in our "yard."  Immediately they calmed down and were happy and fell asleep.
(Wahoo!)
After about 15 minutes I thought to myself "Maybe we should sit in the shade so they don't get sunburned, since we don't have sunblock."
So we scooooted over to the shade and Micah kept on sleeping.
And Grey freaked.

As it turns out, he likes to bake under the hot sun. So I moved him back to the sun.
He calmed down instantly.
But after 10 minutes I felt really guilty and kept worrying about sunburn, so I lined him up with the shadow of the house so his face was in the shade and his body was in the light.
That worked pretty well, and he kept sleeping happily in the sun/shade for another hour at least.

And I didn't think he was sunburned after all.

But look at him. You can see it a bit.
Seriously. That baby has a bad mother.
But he has a good grandmother, and said grandmother brought home some baby sunscreen and Aloe Vera for us.
And we gave him a little bit of baby Tylenol, and now he is sleeping peacefully, and not making angry faces.

Also, are you starting to think that maybe I don't understand the concept of "wordless?"
Since Wednesday posts are among my wordiest, (almost) always.
Someday I'll figure it out.

I love this picture because it looks like they're in the middle of telling some ridiculous story.

Until then, clickity click on below. The boys definitely deserve it for being two months old.
And stay tuned, because tomorrow I have some information concerning an exciting giveaway... (bum bum buuuum)

I love all the pictures, I've been looking at them all day. They look like they are getting so big! Grey always looks like he is doing a karate move. They both look a little mischievous.
