two (great) grandmas

Our boys are really lucky to not only have all of their grandparents, but almost all of their great-grandparents and even some great-great grandparents still living.
This week there is a trade show in Salt Lake City, which probably means nothing to most of you - but for me it means that both of my grandmothers are in town!
Both of them are professional quilters and they have come for the week, and it's the first time either of them have seen the boys in person.
(That's why it's almost 5pm before I'm finally getting on the computer. We'v been too busy visiting and playing to post on the blog.)

The boys are getting so big and are starting to make some really goofy expressions!
And look at the cheeks on that boy!

Yesterday they had their 2 month check-up (and shots! it was so sad!) and Grey weighed 10lbs 9oz, and Micah weighed 9lbs 13oz.  Grey is in the 20th percentile!
Considering that they were 5 weeks premature, that's pretty dang good.
(It's all the sugar and cream the boys take in... or just cream. Seriously, when I pump it looks like half and half)

It's such fun to have family here!
(And they've been taking good care of me too! Buying me lunch... doing my laundry... Grandmas are the best.)

Yay for us mama's producing good milk. My little guy has gained 2 1/2 lbs at 3 weeks and 4 days. So crazy. My sister jokes that its whipping cream.

There is nothing greater than knowing that our adorable chunky babies are completely nourished by us alone.

Whaaaaat? Did I just see them a couple weeks ago? They look SO big. It's seriously amazing. Oh I'm currently holding Lillian who squealed when she saw your babies. Play dates need to happen soon. Our twins were destined to be friends!
