Being the stone in a sligshot...

What did you do this weekend? Anything cool?
For example, did you get to go on THE HUMAN SLINGSHOT?! Because I did.
Holycrap, boy did I.

It was amazing.

I hardly even have whiplash.

A handsome man, holding a beautiful baby.

Okay, so you get in this Peter Pan harness...

And they stretch down this elastic (which takes many men, especially if you don't have much weight to hold you down.)

And you connect your harness to the elastic...

And you maybe say a prayer...

And they hold on to you and pull you back with a four-wheeler...

And let go.

I wanted to do it over and over again. It was so amazing.
Have you seen this video that Travis made about how cool it is?

Watch it.
And then click to vote?
Thanks!

I was going to comment before, but I just read the post about 2 hours ago. I want to know where this awesomeness took place. I'd like to do it, I've heard of it I just don't know where to go to do it.

First of all, thanks for all the pity comments, ha! I love you!

@ Virginia, it's actually at someone's HOUSE (crazy, right?) so you need to know the family to go.

@ Mrs. Head, supposedly, it's safe - if you follow all the rules and things. I guess an engineer designed it, and then the family paid the city to come at insert telephone poles and stuff. It's crazy
