Happy Friday

I've been pretty busy the last few days.
Because if you thought that having two-year old twins was chaotic and crazy, then you wouldn't freaking believe two-year old twins being denied their bottles.

Some days they don't nap. Some days they nap three times a day for a half hour at a time.
The problem with these crazy naptimes isn't just that I have two less hours to get stuff done, the problem is that when the boys are asleep, they are restless and wake at the slightest sound. (Like the sound of me (in the kitchen) opening a bag of flour. For real.)
And when they are awake they are mostly screaming, clingy, and all-around monstrous.
Don't be fooled by the adorable pictures below. While I'm typing this (and ignoring my kids) Grey is holding on to Micah's leg with pincer hands and Micah is smacking him in the face and both of them are screaming.
So. Good parenting over here.

I hope that your Friday is excellent. As for me, I can't wait to have Travis home for the next two days so there's someone here to help take care of these adorable little wretches.
Oh, and notice the pjs? We've mostly been in pjs all day every day this week.

Sounds like how things go over here... except I don't have twins, I have a 3 year old and an 11 months old. The hubby works nights, so we rarely see him. And yes, we basically live in pjs on those days. Happy Friday. Good luck with the naps and bottles. We are definitely battling the nap thing.

pj's all day are fine, don't sweat the small stuff it makes it much easier to handle the bigger stuff. And what you are going thru with the bottles - just proves my thought that taking them away under a year is much easier. Been there, done that.

That grin of Micah's is priceless. I love it! Grey looks pretty darn sweet too. It's funny how sometimes they look nothing alike and sometimes I can't tell them apart.
