San Diego pt 3: Twinning!

Twins!
Twins are fun. I love them.
My cousins Tucker and Jesse were home in San Diego for the summer, which was a wonderful surprise, since I kind of assumed that they were off elsewhere.
But they were in school in SD! Hurray!
And dang! It was so much fun to see them together.  They're such good friends, and so good to each other and their mom.
It made me so excited for my boys to grow up together. Oftentimes, I forget that these lovey, snugly, warm little babies are going to grow up into men.
I hadn't seen Tucker and Jesse together since we were all six years old (and I have been searching and searching for a picture of us all, but to no avail), and even though lots of people say to me, "Oh, I'm a twin!" every day, I've never really hung out with adult-twins.
It was such a fun trip, and I think half of the awesomness, just came from all these identical twin boys running around.
I mean, aren't they cute?

I love these pictures of Tucker and the boys on the trampoline. Once, while both my boys were throwing little tantrums and running in opposite directions, I overheard him ask his mom, "Were we like this?"
"Like two babies, crying at the same time?" she asked. "Yes. Of course."
Haha, it was so wonderful! It was lovely to spend time with my aunt Kathy, who had raised these boys into men.  She was 100% past sleepless nights, and screaming in the car, and watching and rewatching Curious George.
It was like looking into a lovely, wonderful future.
Maybe that will be me in Twenty-two years.
I can hope.

I am so happy that you and Travis had such a wonderful time and that you connected with Jesse and Tucker. Sounds like they got a kick out of your twins as well!
