Ug. This week had been SO LONG. But now it is over, and it's OCTOBER! MONTH OF FUN!
I can't wait to plow into all my Month-of-Fun-Plans, (like apple-picking later this week, and hikes with the boys and a visit to my family, and a house-warming party finally, and hayrides, and of course All Hallows Eve!) but first, let's wave goodbye to September with my photos from the last week:
Tues: When we have even a semblence of chilly weather, we deck ourselves in fall clothes to the extreme! // Wed: Kissing a goat at Wheeler Farm (more on that trip tomorrow!)
Thurs: Our shed has a "baby door." // Fri: Micah loves to climb that tree!
Sat: The most impressive dinner that I've made in a long time. Garlic Roast Chicken, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, popovers, and garden green beans! YUM!
Homemade playdough. // Monocle Micah. // They hate the rain! // Sitting on a woodpile, looking like big boys.
Watching Donald Duck can be be scary. We snuggle for comfort. // Our favorite Halloween show. // They like this swing that lets them see each other. // Throwing rocks in the river.
My boys and their style. And they are good sharers.
Eating breakfast for dinner. // Pajama run! // Watching Blue's Clues. // Baby Door.
A helicopter at the children's museum. // Such fun! // Pumpkin Pie, here we come! // A roast chicken.
Grey Goose. // Collecting grass with our neighbors. // Can you see that Micah's arm is around his brother. Love. // Micah loved that tractor.
"Stop taking pictures and get on!" should be the caption of every picture of Travis. "Stop taking pictures and... {insert activity}"
Hope your week was as lovely as ours, and let's start the party that is October!

Your boys are so precious! Two quick questions, where'd you find the long sleeved Snoopy shirt for the boys, and how do you prepare your roast chicken. Everyone has their own little way of doing chicken, and I love trying out different versions :)
Great photos! I esp like CHEESE an kissing the goat. So cute!
Cannot believe the cuteness of Monday's photo!! Love, indeed.

Hey, we got that awesome Snoopy tshirt at the Baby Gap Outlet.
And I cooked my chicken differently than usual, and it was the best I've ever made!
I blended a half cup roasted garlic with a tbls olive oil, the juice from half a lemon and like 3 cups water, and the wedges of lemon and 2 bay leaves and put it in a ziplock with the chicken overnight. (So like 18 hours) Then I seasoned it with salt and pepper and baked it at 350 for an hour (with another lemon chopped up in the cavity).
The juices also made the best gravy I've ever had IN MY LIFE.
