Happy (almost) Halloween, my friends! This year, I finally tried to tone down the costumes, since I knew my kids wouldn't wear them - regardless of how many hours I put into cutting and sewing elaborate wings for them.
So we created these awesome outfits! The costume for children who hate costumes!
My very talented Grandpa Roger made those sweet wooden axes for the boys, and they've stood up to a lot of chopping in the last two months.
The beards, of course, are unbelievably terrible, but I think I'll try to do a better job on actual-Halloween.

Haha, Grey made very manly faces in all the pictures. These boys really are mountain men at heart!
